The UCSB Alumni Association helps students reach their academic goals by awarding several annual scholarship awards to Gauchos in recognition of achievement and potential. The Alumni Association awards almost $20,000 annually to new and continuing students.

UCSB Alumni Association Scholarship Fund awarded $1,000 to 10 students in Fall 2009 based on good academic standing and financial need.

Alumni Legacy Scholarship awards $1,000 to students who are relatives of UC Santa Barbara alumni. Application deadline Nov. 30, 2012.

Buchanan Award presents $500 each year to a graduating senior majoring in History.

Cheadle Award provides $300 to a graduate student enrolled in the Biology Department.

Hass Award offers two Computer Science majors two $1,000 honorariums during their senior year.
