Office of Student Life UC Santa Barbara has over five hundred student and community organizations. The campus organizations provide an opportunity to development cultural awareness, discuss and relate with various identity groups, and acknowledge our diverse student body.
EOP Cultural Services Educational Opportunity Program sponsors cultural programming for the entire campus community.
CommUnity Grants a. CommUnity Grants are designed to promote campus discourse around issues related to identity and cross-cultural interaction, as well as to enhance collaboration between diverse student organizations in order to build understanding and unity.
American Indian Cultural Resource Center The American Indian Cultural Resource Center serves to educate, promote and encourage interaction and dialogue among the American Indian communities.
Asian Resource Center (ARC) The Asian Resource Center serves to educate, promote, and encourage the interaction and dialogue among Asian American community at UCSB.
Chican@/Latin@ Cultural Center The Chican@/Latin@ Cultural Center's objective is to educate and unify the Chican@/Latin@ community through the mediums of art, language, people, food, traditions, and history.
Middle Eastern Resource Center (MERC) The mission of the Middle Eastern Resource Center is to promote awareness and diversity in the UCSB community and to unify the Middle Eastern student community, giving them the means to embrace their cultural heritage and integrate it into their student life.
Resource Center for Sexual & Gender Diversity (RCSGD) This center welcomes a diversity of racial, ethnic, religious, political, and cultural values while advocating for the welfare of those who have historically been marginalized because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
MultiCultural Center (MCC) The mission of the MultiCultural Center is to promote cultural awareness, interaction, and education.
Women's Center The Center houses the Rape Prevention Education Program which provides support and educational programs to help prevent sexual assault as well as the Sexual Harassment Prevention Education Program, which provides workshops and consultation to students, faculty, and staff.
The Palm Center The Palm Center is committed to sponsoring state of the art scholarship to enhance the quality of public dialogue about critical and controversial issues of the day. For the past decade, the Palm Center's research on sexual minorities in the military has been published in leading social scientific journals. The Palm Center seeks to be a resource for university­affiliated as well as independent scholars, students, journalists, opinion leaders, and members of the public.
Diversity Forum Online Diversity Forum Online is a blog developed by UCSB's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Academic Policy to complement the print newsletter publication.
