The Alumni Affairs Department is tasked with creating meaningful engagement opportunities for UCSB's nearly 200,000 alumni. As state support has rapidly declined, the role of alumni philanthropic support, advocacy and volunteerism has become critical. The UCSB Alumni Affairs department is responsible for many worthwhile programs that drive alumni engagement such as Career Connections, Alumni Publications (including the quarterly Coastlines magazine), All Gaucho Reunion, organizing Alumni groups in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and numerous student events.
To ensure that the Alumni Affairs department continues to build strong ties between the University and its Alumni, we need to raise $100,000 annually through unrestricted Alumni Affairs support. Please consider supporting this critical area. You can mail a check to:
